Do I need to remove the existing lawn before installing new turf?
Yes, it is best to remove any weeds, grass, or old lawn at least two weeks prior to installation using a non-selective herbicide. While it may require additional work and repeat applications, once it has all died off, be sure to remove all weeds, grass, and old lawn. If you need a hand with preparing your lawn, our team offer a comprehensive preparation service that will remove all the hard work and guesswork.
Can I pick up turf products directly from GoTurf?
Our GoTurf Brendale store is temporarily closed, and turf pickups are unavailable for the time being. However, we're still operating, harvesting fresh turf and accepting orders, with deliveries available.

What are the dimensions and weight of a turf slab?
Our turf slabs measure 600mm x 1200mm. Slab weight can vary significantly depending on moisture levels, as they include both soil and turf. Please note: one full pallet (50m²) weighs approximately 1000kg when dry, and significantly more when wet. Ensure your trailer or vehicle is rated for the weight you’re collecting.
Do you have a minimum order quantity for delivery?
No, there's no minimum order; you can order exactly what you need. Turf delivery starts from $165.00 and is calculated based on your zone. For lawn care products, delivery is based on the item's size and weight and will be calculated at checkout.
