So, how do you install garden edging?

Site preparation 

Hedge can be installed onto a range of surfaces, including soil, road base, sand, concrete surfaces and slabs. The amount of site preparation required will depend on how you're installing it and whether you're installing it above or below ground.

Getting the measurements and layout right before you start is going to make the whole process a lot easier.

From there, the basic installation looks like this:

Step 1: Join

Insert the custom straight joiners into the edging profile to create a seamless connection between lengths.

Step 2: Connect

Continue connecting each length until you've created your desired layout.

Step 3: Install

Step 4: Corners

Use Hedge's custom corner joiners to create clean right angles without needing additional screws or fixings.

Step 5: Curves

Flex the edging to create your desired curves and shape.

Step 6: Backfill

Backfill around the edging to complete the installation.
