Pickup details that matter
Do I need to pre-order before arriving?
Yes. All turf is cut fresh to order. Walk-ins and same-day unconfirmed pickups are not available. Your order must be placed and confirmed before arrival.
What vehicle is suitable for turf pickup?
You will need:
- A trailer larger than 6x4 or a flat tray ute
- Adequate load capacity for pallet weight
- Space cleared for forklift loading
Standard cars, small vans or undersized trailers cannot be loaded for safety reasons.
How heavy is a pallet of turf?
Pallet weight varies by variety and moisture content, but can approach up to one tonne. Always confirm your vehicle’s load capacity before scheduling pickup.
What happens if my vehicle is not suitable?
For safety reasons, we cannot load unsuitable vehicles. If your setup is not appropriate, delivery can be arranged instead. Contact the team prior to your scheduled pickup if plans change.
